A mini bag that takes 1 space in inventory. Within the bag it holds x amount more slots (i would say 16 to 24 space). This can help not only hold more items in each equip, use and etc. But help prevent possible npc'ing valuable equips and other etc without rebuking 3m. It could be given after a quest, nx item but most likely a donation item in cash shop.

I agree that this would be of convenience, but where do you set the limit? Why would you need more than 96 slots? what difference would an additional 10,15,30 slots make, will it change how you play the game, or just delay the "problem" by five minutes.
Unless you could have several of these "backpacks", and have thousands of slots, I don't see having ~125 slots instead of 96 will be better.
I hope most people would agree that having thousands of slots would be excessive, and not a good idea. If I had several "backpacks" I would buy 1000 stacks of potions and repot every christmas.

I think 96 is a good limit, and it should stay at that.

As for not NPC'ing equips, I totally agree that it would be nice to have something that stopped you from doing this. There is a solution with item locks/guard, this has recently been discussed and is on the dev's list of possible implementation. Several items are already not possible to NPC, and also not possible to drop. Like CS and WS. If there are more specific items you want to add to this list, you can make a suggestion.

I'm sure you already do this, but I will share what I do with valuable equips.
    Put them in the bank.
Put them on the top of your inventory, that way when you NPC you will see and skip them immediately.

We do not want to add any gameplay benefits to be gained via RP so it being a donation item in the cash shop is a clear no for us. The inventory is already maxed out in Royals by default and i think inventory space is defenitly manageable. Hoarders would need more than the 16~24 slots anyways. Since multiclienting is allowed here it is very easy to make a storage mule.

Although i think i've heard this is a thing in modern maplestory it also sounds hard to implement here. So not really sure if its worth the trouble.

About the unintentional NPCing of equips please rever to @Breig 's comment above.

I use sticky notes https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh4qghw?hl=en-US&gl=US (simple program for quick annotations, light, compact and editable) on my PC and year where I have everything, I just review the list at all times and I never lose anything, try it, I have about 60 mules that in the past I used to store 2b+ in each one when years ago the B did not exist coins, so cheer up, the game is better than before, cheer up, you can do it, I believe in you! happy maple
