Although it is of minor annoyance I was wondering if someone can figure out the problem for me. When I multi-client using Sandboxie, occasionally when I switch from one MR window to another, the BGM/Sound will turn on at max volume despite being marked as "muted". So to turn the BGM/Sound back off I have to untick mute, and tick mute again. On the other note, my keyboard does not have the scroll lock function, so to take a screenshot, i need to take a picture of my desktop while MR is open using the Print Screen method and paste it onto Paint then save the file to save a screenshot. Is there a way to change the hotkey for Screenshots to make the process less tedious?
Well, since u dont have any screen lock button u can use print screen then paste it on Paint. Hope it helps u Maybe u can try turning the volume bar to 0 instead of muting it.
I use the paint method already as stated. My volume is at the lowest and it still blasts the sound to max.
How was the print screen and paste matter does it work? Have u tried lowering down ur speaker volume and lowering down maple BMG/Sound?
It's just a mild annoyance to do all that for a screenshot. I'd rather press one button for a screenshot and be done with it. Every sound option is at the lowest and both ticked to mute. I'm not going to lower my speaker volume because I regularly watch videos and Skype while I play maple.
Well i think theres a glitch in the sound.wz in maple. The best possible way right now is that u lower ur speaker volume before alt-tabbing.
I'm not sure if its sound.wz that have a glitch in it. Just stating maybe it would help if someone could check it.
This happens to me all the time when I DC or enter a new map/area with different BGM while Maple is not my focused window (like getting dragged into a PQ while browsing the web). This is a minor annoyance because I'll have to listen to the Main Menu BGM until I've relogged (if I DC'd), or just like you, open the system tab and tick/untick mute. I know what causes this though, so I just learn to live with it. I also get in-game sound for like 1 second if I ALT TAB to Maple where something active is happening (someone using a buff, killing stuff or scrolling). I can hear the effect of a scroll passing/failing or a huge blast from a used skill, but no more than that.
What manslut described is exactly what happens to me. I don't think it's a wz problem because momorii told me that she does not get this problem at all.
It's the same in eMS, so either it's some hardware, OS version or soundcard related issue, because I doubt it has actually anything to do with the MS client itself.
Interesting. Alright if the sound issue can't be fixed as easily, is there a way to change the hotkey for a screenshot?
