IGN: Chikage Problem: This is my first time playing Maplestory and my brother got me to sign up. I didn't know you had to have a certain amount of skill points in order to advance at level 10. I tried following a guide online but it said put all your points into luck and not that much into dex. When I hit level 10, I went to the city with the basement to try to job advance but he said I need 25 dex? Is there anyway to fix this and if not, do I have to make a new character? Getting to level 10 took so long too...
since you're in kerning anyway, go to the subway station and buy a ticket to new leaf city. right outside the station is the mayor who offers you a quest. all you need to do is answer a few questions. you should go from level 10 to 15 in a few minutes. then use those points and get your 25 dex. i'm pretty sure you don't lose any skill points by doing the job advancement late
