Last year's anniversary event had the Golden Mushroom event where a mysteries golden mushroom would randomly spawn somewhere in the entirety of the maple world. The lucky explorer who found and slayed it was rewarded with great riches and fame. Later on, the winter events had there own unique spin on a roaming mystery mob hunt. Personally, I think this concept is great for events and should be expanded upon, so why not add a monster card to these mobs? It could attract more people to join in on the search, which as a seeker myself (12 mushies in the 2weeks I searched :3) would be all more the fun, What do you guys think?
While we all want to collect different Monster cards and make it easier to get the higher Collector medals, I think Event mobs shouldn't be apart of the journey. All current cards are accessible at all times of the year and the server should stick with that rule.
I don't think you need a monster card to attract people for it. Unless WS and CS and belt scroll and ring scroll and LUK crystals and wisdom crystals and power crystals and DEX crystal and 5-10k NX and heartstopper and blue text world message FLEX and etc isn't enough.
The idea is to add seasonal collecting challenges not make the medals easier. Just as event quests aren't tallied in quest specialist/virtuoso these cards don't have to be calculated towards your 400 total. (tbh there are enough as is with Elin) Yes the rewards for these mobs are great, I know :3. Even so, while grinding these mobs I found it was pretty much the same 5-10 people actually doing it - I see this as a chance to get more people searching.
