Hi staff, I am hunting samiho (level 56) in the map hidden street: moon ridge (korean town) and then I noticed an issue with the experience I recieved. I also checked the map fox ridge and there I had the same issue. It turns out that the samiho provide either of the following amount of experience: 296 or 592. The 592 seems to be the amount I should receive based on other mobs around that level that I have trained at. I was hunting samiho for a quest so I had to kill a lot of them already and of course if 90% of them, which seems to be a good approximation, gives me only 296 experience this will be a big experience gap compared to if I had received the 592 as I should've and that is of course not good. Good luck with fixing things and you're welcome for helping finding a bug.
I was alone in the maps and also not in a party. I understand that you imply that this observation could be explained by that if my party member kills the samiho I will only receive 296 experience and that when I kill it I will receive 592. But yeah unfortunately that is not the explanation for the two different amounts of experience I could receive. I guess there might be a problem in the multiplication of the basis experience with the 3.2 factor.
Alright, what seems to be happening is that Samiho monsters are able to curse the player, however the curse animation/text does not show up on screen and your EXP is still halved. Therefore there is no issue with the mobs themselves or the exp multiplier, and the issue is solely to do with the monster skills not showing up. I've renamed this thread to clarify the issue.
