I previously opened a thread, but it got moved so... Anyway I followed the advice given to me in the other thread by Jack (abandoning all quests and relogging) but it didn't fix my issue. After going through channels 1-6 in HHG1 no monsters would spawn. I went to Kerning and moved around a few channels until I found a channel that was spawning monsters. Anymore advice, Thanks, Lulz.
I experienced this also while training a new character. Certain Ellinia maps have no spawn whatsoever. Usually it takes a few seconds of waiting in a map before monsters actually spawn in but nothing would spawn. It couldn't have been the quest glitch because I'd enter a different map and monsters would spawn.
The thread was closed because it is the quest glitch. You need to forefit all of your quests and use ~gm so they can dispose the map and repopulate the map's spawn. If you keep fighting mobs with the quest glitch, you will ruin the spawn on each map you go to.
