    Hello,

First of all, sorry for my English :p

I`m trying to use my APR to wash, but the - MP button is desabled. I was checking the Thief Minimun MP formula and it is 14 x Level +148 after 2nd job adv. In my case, 14x52+148 = 876. This is my Minimun MP.
I have 1537 MP, why the -MP Button desabled? i have 661 MP that i can wash till minimum MP.

PS: I removed all the itens that give +MP and any buffs

I believe you have to add 1 to HP first, before you can add MP. But, it'd be better to wait for others to confirm. It has been awhile since I last MP-washed so I can't really remember the full details.

ye what kai said. to start washing, u need to either add 1 fresh ap into hp/mp, or ap reset 1 ap from ur int/luk into ur hp/mp.

I`m HP washing. When I lv up, I put one AP from lv up to HP ( 20 ~ 24 ) then I use APR to - MP and put it in Luk. The problem is I can just do it 2~3 times. I Think the Minimum MP formula 14 x level + 148 is outdated.

when u reset, -mp +hp. when u are at ur last ap reset, then u -mp +luk. or leave it if u dun want to have to keep adding 1 ap into hp everytime u want to wash

Not really. As a Thief, if I put 1 AP from Lv Up, I gain 20~24HP. If I put 1AP from APR, I gain only 16~20HP.
I Think the Minimum MP formula is outdated or changed by Staff or Royals put a restriction to 2~3 APR per level, to avoid people putting tons of base Int and washing from Vote Abuse.

The options to take AP out of your HP and MP is disabled because you have no AP in either HP or MP currently.

My level 200 bishop has: 4 str, 4 dex, 999 int, and 23 luk.

    4+4+999+23=1030

A character at the maximum level has a base stat total of 1030, with no AP in either HP or MP.

    You are level 52.

    200-52=148

You have 148 level ups, which give 5 AP each.

    148*5=740

    1030-740=290

You get 5 AP from the third and fourth job advancements, which you haven't done yet.

    290-5-5=280

If take 280 and subtract your current base stats and your unused AP, that will give us how many AP are in your HP or MP. Which would also equal the number of AP Resets you can use to -MP.

    280-4-25-223-26-2=0

And indeed, you have 0 AP currently in HP or MP. So that's why the AP Reset doesn't allow you to -HP or -MP.

Basically, there's nothing wrong. Your character isn't bugged. Your AP Reset isn't bugged. You're not missing any AP. You have enough MP to wash as you know.

The only thing wrong is that you don't have an AP in HP or MP yet.

Put your 2 unused AP in HP. Use 2 AP Resets to -MP.

    And you're fine.

The minimum MP formula is correct. It has not been changed in the ~6 years of Royals.

There's only a restriction on how many level up AP you can use because, well, there's a restriction on how many level ups a character can do.

Using AP Reset AP is necessary when the thief character's HP goal is very high or very early. Because again, fresh AP (from level ups and the third and fourth job advancements) are limited.

Putting tons of base int is entirely viable on a thief character to wash to extremes. It's just excessive and excessively expensive. Base ints of at least 300, but more commonly 400, are typical when planning a 30k HP NL for instance, which multiple people have done. And there's even a 30k HP 30k MP NL. But we don't count players we know aren't legit.

Thanks for your reply, it helped me a lot!

I thought I just needed to be above MP to do the wash, now I understand that I also need to have AP on HP / MP stats.
