So I was interested on mp washing my mage to 30k mp. I couldn't find factual numbers for mage mp washing, just theories. Does anybody have numbers on mage fresh ap into mp and mp loss per ap reset(For MapleRoyals)?
Im trying to find out how many washes I need and what level to start washing to reach 30k mp. Thanks!

How much mp you gain each fresh ap point you add depends on how much base int you have. It's +1 mp each 10 base int. (Plus whatever the amount is that mages naturally gain).

The amount of mp lost when substracting an ap point from mp is 90. Easiest way to find out how much you gain would be testing it out.

Iv read the same thing from other places which isnt the problem.
I was wondering if anybody knew the amount gained from a fresh ap into mp. If mp washing works for mages to amount a fresh ap gives would have to be higher than 90, or the amount subtracted from taking an ap point out of mp isn't 90 in mapleroyals.
I would find out by spending a lot of ap resets to see the range of mp given from a fresh ap -> mp however I didnt want to waste resets if somebody has the answer.

I tested this just a few weeks ago actually!

Level 175 (1032 int at level up, 842 base int)
    HP: 2297
    MP: 25,705

    Level 176
    HP: 2311
    MP: 25,852

1 level AP in HP: 2324
1 level up AP in MP: 25,980

AP reset from MP to int: -30 MP
    -MP +HP reset: -30 MP, 16 HP
AP reset from hp to int,-10 HP
int to MP reset: +30 MP

14 HP gain on level up
147 MP gain on level up
Level up AP in HP: +13 HP
Level up AP in MP: +128 MP

-MP per AP reset: -30 MP
AP reset AP into HP: +13 HP

This is my raw data, which should be quite comprehensive.

@Yuame has HP and MP washed a bishop far more than I have, and I suggest asking him for specific questions. I just play around with the idea, but that guy actually did it, several times now hahaha! Nice 8k HP 30k MP bishop Martin. And congrats on 200 if I don't make it later today! :D

30k mp is super easy. You don't really need to know the formulas or anything, just put 5 points into mp when you level up, and reset them out to int. Takes around 20-30 levels of washing 5 points each level to hit 30k, depending on when you start washing.

    @Shiyui @Yuame @Martin
Sorry for the late reply guys!
Im not sure about the math but doesn't taking out of mp > main stat = -90 mp?
Im confused when you said 30?
And I read somewhere that the mp gained from putting fresh ap into mp is different depending on the base stat of the persons int.
Im not sure whats true because every server seems to have small differences in their equations.
The main question I have for you guys though is what level should I start mp washing to reach 30k mp by 175(preferably 150)
and assume that Im not wearing any extra int gear, just pure int, adding 5 int every level.

Taking an AP out of MP will always result in -30 MP.

Putting a fresh AP into MP depends on only base int for every single class EXCEPT magician.

    For magicians:

MP gained per level: 22-24 +(2*Improving Max MP Increase level+total INT/10)
MP gained per fresh AP in MP: 18-20 +(2*Improving Max MP Increase level)

    First job minimum MP: Level*22+38
Second, third, fourth job minimum MP: Level*22+488

MP lost per AP Reset: -30 MP

I have spreadsheets here if you're good with math. Download the one for the normal job advancing, the magician path. Change all cells under column C to 0. The level where you want to start MP washing, find that row and change that row's R to "=G(thatrow)+N(thatrow).

So let's say you want to start MP washing at level 70. Go to row 71. Change cell R71 to "=G71+N71" And then the spreadsheet will calculate MP washing for every level thereafter. If you calc for a different level, make sure to highlight an R cell below the one you edited and drag it up. This will automatically write the original formula.

Oops my bad haha! Fixed! And anyway, the exact spreadsheet you should download is here! I strongly suggest downloading OpenOffice on your computer. It's a better Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Trust me, if you want to play with spreadsheets, you'll find OpenOffice SO much easier. I hate Excel. As always, I'm happy to help if you have any questions. :D

Hi Shiyui, thanks for all your posts :)
I have been looking everywhere on the forums for the formula for the MP gained from fresh AP into MP. This formula confirms what i've been seeing on my character (i get 78-80 MP from each fresh AP into MP, on 95 priest w/ ~600INT), but I do have a question. Earlier in this thread you shared details of a wash that you did on a 175 mage, and it seems that you gained a total of 128 MP from putting a fresh AP into MP. Is the formula you gave here correct? or does the MP gained from fresh AP also depend on your level or INT?

Shiyui was last seen July 20, 2021. Yes, every 10 int you have will increase your mp gain from leveling up and from adding AP by 1
