Greetings! I was chatting in the chatbox with Sila and we started wondering how will MP washing work exactly in the new source. According to this thread about Double Washing, the community found out that the total MP gain from each AP put into MP was only taking into account the character's base INT, and not total INT. It seemed like it was not intentional. My first question is: Will the mp gain be 'BASE INT/10 +(class specific mp gain value from LEVELUP AP)' or 'TOTAL INT/10 +(class specific mp gain value from LEVELUP AP)' in the new source??? My second question is: In that same thread, the first reply mentions that you have to unequip your gear before resetting MP back into your main stat, as if your total INT affected the amount of MP you lose from the AP reset. However, in the old source at least, the MP loss per AP reset was a fixed number depending on your class, so it seems to be wrong information. Is it still the same in the new source or there is a formula for how much MP you lose per reset? Let me know if my questions do not make sense, and it would also be greatly appreciated if we could see the new source code for AP resets, especially for MP. Thank you for your time!
This seemed to be the case when I was adding MP on my GM. My guess would be that MP removed when using a reset would be a fixed number though I haven't been able to test this.
Dang if it's total int now I've wasted a lot of ap resets -.- on the flip side this would make washing sooo much easier
Any news on this? If it's total int now, I can keep my base INT a lot lower than I had previously planned.
