Hello Everyone! I am a little worried. Am I allowed to cc and go around and kill all the area bosses(Stumpy,Faust etc.) for the nx? Or is that abuse? I first heard I can get nx from them today, so I killed a couple for 4k nx. This is legal and wont get me suspended right? (just checking). Side-question: What are the possible drops from the area bosses? I only got 250/100nx so far, but someone told me there was higher ones like 5k. lol EDIT: QUESTION: For example Faust, does it spawn in both maps? Like, if I kill it in map A, do i have to wait 4 hours for it to potentially spawn in either map, or does it spawn again in map B?
It's not against the rules, but in all honesty, unless you like killing the small bosses, this is a very inefficient way to get a good amount of NX. You're better off making money and trying to buy NX from someone at a rate of 1/4.
I disagree ^ That was just after -one- run of doing all 3 maps after a server check. I never ss'd the rest, but I made about 11k NX off of area bosses within 20 minutes. Edit: Considering it's free NX and it's easy to get- it's definitely worth doing if you feel up to it, and you can travel quickly enough.
GM Sila, how did you do that? For the bosses to spawn in the first place, I had to hunt the mobs around the spawn map for about a minute for them to spawn. So it took me about an hour for earn 4.5k nx. EDIT: Also, ccing in mush shrine kicks me out back to hene lol} E_EDIT: I meant the Mushmom spawn place lol.
I did that after a server check, when all the bosses respawn immediately. Otherwise you have to wait for them to respawn naturally- some of them are every 4 hours. CCing in Mush Shrine should take you back to Mush shrine, not henesys. I have flash jump so I just jumped through the map and got there quickly enough.
Is there a set time for Server Checks? Or as way to tell when it occurs? Or does it just show as a in-game message?
Sometimes server checks are announced on the forum, but most of the time they're just quickly announced in game. Keep an eye on the shout box too- sometimes it crashes and needs to be reset, which is another time you can go for them.
