Save yourself the trouble and ask him to re-log and transfer the goodies to you himself. And you might want to document it somehow.
1. You can't log onto his account to take anything under any circumstance. 2. It's not advisable for him to do to this on your computer or IP address, so for example: he logs into his account from his computer, at his house, and trades the items to you, who is playing from your own computer, at your own house. 3. Screen shot and record everything, texts, e-chats, in-game chats, trades, etc.. Ideally, you'd have him PM an admin (from his existing forum account while also including his main IGNs) such as Tim letting him know that he is giving his gear (with names/stats) to you (with your IGN + forum name) so that he can be spared both the hassle of potentially investigating and mistakenly banning you in the future..also to save you the burden of being caught up into a mess like that because it could very well end up with you remaining permanently banned (even if you were truly innocent). It can be done, absolutely, but you actually need to plan accordingly. As much as I'm sure we all wish it could be as simple as "hey I'm quitting, here's everything bro" if that were allowed on our server every RWTer could make that same asinine claim and there would be no way to determine who is telling the truth or not. You'll notice all of these "it wuz gift from mi irl friend/client/cousin/cat" bans have one thing in common: nobody said anything to the staff about it happening beforehand, nobody documented it, and everybody got it from some "unknown" low leveled mule. If you just message the staff with authenticity, document it, and have the IGN(s) of real characters who earned the items first, you should have no problem at all. Communication is key!
