Hi all, I would like to present you mine idea about NX, cause of many people get banned last days for vote abuse. GMs could make NX like it was before wipe. I mean that NX cards were dropping common monsters and not only the bosses.So when somebody needed a couple of NX, he/she just went grind and collect his/her needed volume of NX. There was not a reason to cheat with voting like now. So my solution to prevent of voting from more accounts per one person is make NX cards dropping by all monsters (of course with low drop rate which will be OK) and i hope that people will stop with "multivoting" and server wont be dead as it is these days. The server needs votes to be popular (the higher rank on websites such as gtop100, the more visitors). NX coupons do drop, and maple leaves as well. But removing the rewards from voting would decrease the amount of votes the server would receive by a lot.
i didnt say that remove rewadrs from voting, and i know that NX cards and leaves drop, i just want to rise amount of NX which you can get per day, everything will be as its now but just remake NX cupons monster drop list.

But if we let NX drop from mobs again, then that means more people have NX and more white scrolls and chaos scrolls will become abundant in game. When that happens some people will have end game equips. When that occurs people will complain, then we wipe the entire server again.
The problem with NX cards dropping from all monsters (pre-wipe) was that it was too easy to get a lot of NX, and this was reflected in the really low prices for various gacha-only items. Also, the less NX there is available in-game, the more keen people will be to vote to get their NX. People are going to just have to learn not to abuse the voting system. The NX dropping from mobs idea is flawed because different classes have different mobbing abilities compared to other. It won't be equal for lets say a pally grinding for nx compared to a bishop or archmage. As all the mages have to do is stand in one spot and spam their map attacks, and let their pets loot all the nx. While the pally have to run around slash blasting 2 monsters at a time. What will end up happening will be a unbalanced economy with mages controlling majority of the wealth as nx = gach and gach = money. So yea, your idea won't work. Sorry! ~Kevin
This thread is based on the assumption that 8k NX a day is not enough, so people are abusing the vote system to get more. It is not clear though why you think it is not enough. Think about it this way. 8k NX is US $8.00. There are 365 days in a year. 365*8= $2920. If you were playing on a server where you had to pay for your NX (i.e. the official ones) would you consider it reasonable to have to pay over $2920 per year for the game to be worth playing? Probably not. Infact, even 1k NX a day would be a lot if you had to pay for it. In a way you are saying that because the NX is free here, you should get more of it. And the trouble with getting more NX for gacha and AP resets is that it won't make you more mesos like you might think it would. Supply will wayyyy outweigh demand, and the items will be worth next to nothing. So what have you gained? What fun is there in scrolling when everybody can get an infinite supply of scrolls to do godly scrolling?
I think the issue with NX drops from mobs is not the inflation with the market, but how much of an advantage it gives mage classes.
This. The system that we have right now is a very good balance for all classes. Bossing classes can get NX (and therefore money) easier in-game by killing bosses, while mages can farm actual mesos. We'll keep it as it is
The hell you talking about... 8k NX per day, 4 days of saving is 32k NX, which is 37 gachapon tickets.
Everyone gets free NX expect for Orihime! Not enough you say, go to the official MapleStory and spend your money to get enough NX then.
