My 140 Hero have been facing difficulties to look for bossing PT mayb because of my attack range is quite low. So i need some advice. FYI , currently im using ST wa131. with pgc wa5, glove 12. the rest is normal eq like 22str top 22 dex bottom and 17dex shoe. Seriously Need your pro Advice. Thanks.
You should try to upgrade/change your shoes to FS, since u might need the dex to wear your ST, do you have a horntail pendant? That could help out with the ST dex requirement. Other then that, do you have any other chars (like a HS mule)? I think one thing you could do to make it easier to find parties is offer to multi client. Bringing a HS mule to zak makes your bad range less unattractive.
You should look to judge your equipment by total stats instead (str plus dex). Here is the bare minimum for what you should aim for with your funds: 50+ zhelm 14+ maple leaf 5+ eye accessory 12+ earrings 48+ htp 30+ top 23+ bot 15+ att gloves 10+ att cape 6+ att shoes 131+ att st 6+ krex ring 5+ belt (Please note that you can also get cheaper versions by purchasing things of your own class. For example, you can buy a 10 str 5 dex 12 att warrior glove to save around 700m or so as that warrior glove gives the same range as a 15 att scg) Of course, not everything here can be quickly obtained by mesos. Things like maple leaves and your rings takes time to obtain. One thing to note is that the key to this game isnt about getting the highest range you can possibly get nor about perfecting something. Its about making buddies from either your guild or from leveling partners you have back when you were in the lower levels. If you did pqs and such, making your own party with them should be a piece of cake. If you just leeched to your current level on the other hand, youre just basically playing a single player game so dont expect much.
your hero is probably having difficulty finding parties because level 140 heroes dont have stance maxed (or one of the other 3 'core' hero skills, advanced combo & brandish) and not because of your gear, which seems fine.
