So I get this message when I open the new client in my MapleRoyals folder. I guess I'm doing something wrong here so I'd like to get some help.
You may need to redownload as your antivirus may have removed some of the components needed to install the program.
It is an issue with the security software on your computer. Perhaps someone else can assist you further.
Ummm... I wonder how I downloaded it for the first time if the problem is in my security system. Nothing has changed and I was able to play until I tried patching this. Plus the files I get from downloading seem different from what I got when I downloaded Royals for the first time.
Yes, the files are different. That was why we released the patch. However, there is some issue with the installer you have since others have been able to use the exact same file without a problem. That's why I am unsure as to what the issue is.
This is a Microsoft Windows Installer error. It can be caused by insufficient disk space, Temp folder permissions, or a corrupted download of the installer. To resolve this issue, please check/do the following: Verify that you have sufficient disk space on the drive our software is being installed Verify you have the proper permissions to the file path listed in the error message Verify the user has Admin privileges For Windows Vista and newer, right click on the installer and "Run as administrator", (Right Click >> Run as administrator). Download a new copy of the setup file from www.royals.ms. If you still are unable to run the installer, clear out your Windows temporary file folder and try again. To clear your Temp folder, please run Disk Cleanup.
