It appears that a lot of the Nependeath and Dark Nependeath plants in Orbis are broken/bugged? I know that Nependeaths are supposed to shoot at you whether you attack them or not but most Nependeaths and Dark Nependeaths on both Strolling Paths they appear in do not shoot at you and just sit there instead. If you attack the bugged ones, they'll attack back and it'll say that they did damage on you but your HP bar will not go down. Also, the bugged ones don't drop seeds or any other items, only mesos. A few of them in specific places work and you can tell that they do when they shoot at you without being provoked but I would say only around 1/4th of them work on each Strolling Path map. :/ I tried changing channels but the bug appears to be the same on every channel. This bug is making it kind of difficult to do quests like Ericcson's Reward where you need 200 Nependeath Seeds and 100 Dark Nependeath Seeds so just want to let the forum know to spare them of what I just went through and maybe get the bug fixed. lol
Yes, they are exceedingly odd and have been for a while. Hopefully this will be one of the many things that is fixed on the new source.
