Anyone else have this issue? I allowed it becasue its the old maple thing, but it still wont do anything, I use Microsoft 365 defender plz help
You have to set exception https://royals.ms/forum/threads/making-mapleroyals-an-exception-in-windows-defender.103839/
i downloaded thought the new sync.com section and it popped up a notification saying it didnt download correctly allowed the threat that it popped up and it downloaded and started up
I got it too, didn't work from any other download source and even after i download it though microsoft edge and kept the setup file, i tired setting it in the exception but i won't let me saying its suspected as virus
Please include screenshot of the error as the download could be blocked by browser, and not the anti virus
This is the error when I try to put the file as exception: "Location of setup file" "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software." And on the browser it says virus detected and deletes the file
I downloaded through Firefox but now when i try to run it my computer give me the same error as i mentioned earlier: "Location of setup file" "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software." and deletes the file immediately Also tried first adding it to the exclusions but still wont let me giving me the error above ^ , tried running it as administrator still same, im using windows 10 please help
But that error message means your anti-virus removed it If you are unable to set exception, you have to off the real-time protection till the installation is done
Windows Security is the default anti-virus https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...security-2ae0363d-0ada-c064-8b56-6a39afb6a963
For those reading this thread and aren't tech savy; Mapleroyals has more detections so theres like 4-5 you have to whitelist. If your download isnt going through and is seen deleted through browser, you need to navigate to your windows defender>Virus>Recent threats, and click the drop down to "allow on system". I did this but I dont think it actually creates an entry on the allow list, so you may have to notepad them down as they come up to manually do it. My Royals was working fine for awhile but then closned and uninstalled itself saying the virus I "whitedlisted" came up again.
