I was always a Sin player from 04-08. Want to try something new to me. Started a new Mage recently. It's gonna be I/L. I've scrolled everything I have so far, and wanted to get opinions on where I should go with my equips. Hat - 19 Int 0 slot bandana Gloves - 6INT/6MA work gloves. Hit 2 30's on the first 2 slots. 3 slots left Shield - 4INT/6MA Mapleshield. Hit 2 30's on the first 2 slots as well. 8 Slots left. Overall - 20 INT 0 slots remaining. Gonna be sticking with this OA for a good while. Earrings - 6INT/12MA. 2 slots left, one 30 failed. Boots - N/A for now Weapon - Placeholder until level 64/level 130 wand.
if u havent reach 4th job yet, i will buy leech From level 85 onwards and dont buy any eq until 4th job and self grind to level 130. Meanwhile prepare a hs mule. In my opinion, equipments dont matter for levels under 4th job. Especially arch mage. U can one hit ulu very easily at lvl 130 naked leech with blizzard 30. It is a pragmatic way to buy leech since the faster u reach 130, the faster u can sell leech and gear up to maybe one hit petri? Some people will take their time to self grind from lvl 80 onwards to feel the ‘nostalgic’ experience but i assure u. U will definitely buy leech eventually Once u reach level 130. Then u can begin to gear up. There are a few paths for Arch mage. Remain at ulu as ulu seller, petri. Or even tot If u remain as ulu seller. U dont really need to gear up tbh
