Hoping this click bait works lol. Hi, I'm starting off on this server and I did some research on what would be best for me to start with. Saw some people debating either f/p or cleric, so I wanted to ask which would be better for a new guy to start with? No experience in this server, so I'd like to get help from someone with experience. Thank you!
Going bishop first is basically the best way to begin funding characters. It does depend a little on how you want to fund characters though. If you go bs first, you can sell low level leech and low level leech your own characters. If you go fp, you can do ulu alot earlier (npc for like 40-50m/hr). Both can do stoppers as they have summons, and people also do cwkpq / apq for money (you will often need a non mage class for these though). So yeah, bs --> fp if you're not sick of mage already or else can skip --> non mage attacker class.
So, i started with a cleric. Was really a hard Journey which took the fun away imo I would start with a F/P mage, you got really nice leveling at lvl 75+ and you will have an easier time to 1hit Petris (Ulu monsters counterpart to Skelegons) in Lategame, which gives you the most money for Leech. Your Skillbooks are cheaper and if you want HS Mule, you can just train it later. Of course F/P are not really wanted @Bosses but besides Zak,Horntail and maybe Neo Tokyo there is almost no need for a Bishop, except as HS Mule....
So... from my perpective: FP is cheap and deals more damage. If you're building a mage to sell leech, you'd need a HS mule. FP Arch mages don't require much funding (they're cheaper than IL too!). No bossing unless with friends. Meteor 20 and 30 books are cheap. As you get closer to 120, levels will feel slow. On the other hand, Bishops have HS so they can sell leech without a mule but their damage is not as good as arch mages'. They require more funding for higher level mobs leech. Bishops attend boss runs while arch mages don't. Genesis 20 and 30 books are expensive. I've seen priests running around offering HS for free leech so that's a fast way to get to 120. ______________ Personally, I went with FP cause fire looks cool.
