Hi guys, I'm new to MapleRoyals. Would like to have my Hero as my first char. But I prefer to have HP washing a bit for my Hero (I am aware that some might say that Hero doesnt need to wash, but generally I prefer to have a bit extra of HP ). So question will be, 1. Is it advisable for me to add 80 Pure AP into INT in the early game (will wash a bit for every level)? Since I have no mesos to buy INT equips. 2. Or maybe create a BS in order to get more mesos and hence to have more INT equips for my Hero? Thanks
Short answers to your questions 1 and 2: Heroes usually wash to 30K HP (max). You will need 40 base INT and 50 INT from INT gears. Don't worry about the cost of INT gears, since you can easily obtain funding after LV50 by selling AP resets. Creating a Bishop (or Arch Mage) will take lots of time in the short term, but will help you in the long run. However, it's not a necessity if you don't like mages. Long answers that involves some details: You should aim to wash to 30K (max) HP as a Hero, because it's very beneficial in boss runs later, and it's not really hard. Some resources for washing: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/fully-revised-hp-washing-guide.8286/ A very convenient tool for HP washing is the HP washing calculator created by one of the most helpful players: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-calculator.111127/ You will understand most fields of the calculator after reading through the guides above. But here is the calculation I did for you: In this plan, you will reach 30K HP at LV200. LV200 may sound a bit late, but it is good enough. You will have 25K+ HP at LV155 if you follow the plan, which is more than enough to join any boss. It is possible to reach 30K HP at LV155 or even lower levels, but it costs more, and wastes the natural HP gain from LV155 to LV200. You will need to add 40 base INT at early levels (preferably before LV30). It is optimal to add them as soon as possible (LV6 - 13 as shown in the calculator), but that may make it hard for you to train at early levels. So you can spread them out a bit if you want (e.g. 2 INT per level until LV20). This will reduce your eventual HP gain by a bit, but the HP from your gears (event rings, medals, etc.) should compensate for it. Start voting to get 8000 NX per day as soon as your character reaches LV15. After LV50, you can buy AP resets (3100 NX) using your saved NX and sell them at 16-17M each. Gaching is also an option if you want to try your luck for the jackpots (WS / CS 520M), but it's risky and you may lose all your saved NX without profit. Use the mesos from your sold AP resets to buy gears for 50 INT. A cheap combination may include: Zak helmet: 13 - 17 INT. 50M for 1 helmet, or 100M VIP for all dropped helmet (2-5) if you are worried about getting a below average one. Bathrobe (M): 16 INT scrolled Single Earring: 7-9 INT scrolled Old raggedy cape (LV25) or Adventurer Cape (LV50): 10 INT scrolled Squishy shoes from kerning PQ, or yellow snowshoes (1-2 INT clean). Red marker: 1-3 INT clean. Scrolled ones are expensive because glove for MA scrolls are expensive. I don't know the price too well, but as a rough estimation, the entire set may cost you anywhere between 500-800M. This sounds a lot, but it's only 20 days of voting NX. And you can always resell them after you finish washing. Make sure your base INT + gear INT add up to 90 at LV50. Even if they add up to 89, that's only as good as 80, since MP gain while leveling up is (INT / 10) rounding down. You can add a bit more base INT if you are having trouble to get 50 INT from gears. Wear the INT gears at 99% and level up with them. Wooden wand (7 INT scrolled) would significantly reduce the cost of your INT gear, but you cannot attack with wooden wand equipped, so I didn't include it in the combination above. If you have friends to party with you and level you up at 99%, you can use it instead. Based on the plan above, you can reset your base INT at LV135, which is nice because you will need to maximize your damage for bossing then. You still need to LV up with INT gears until you reach LV155 though, so prepare to put them on during bossing (Zak / Krex) after LV135. Everything above gives you extra MP while leveling up. After you have the extra MP, you can convert them to HP by -MP + HP using AP resets. This process will be expensive (5.3B or 312 AP resets as shown in calculator), but fortunately you can do it at any time, so you have a loooong time to accumulate funding for that. 5.3B may seem like a lot in the beginning, but it isn't that much in your journey to LV200. You can do it gradually from LV50 to LV155 using AP resets bought from your vote NX, or you can buy a ton of AP resets and do it all at once at LV155. If you are not against making mages, you may choose start with a F/P mage. They can level from 70 to 120 extremely quickly with poison training, and they can easily 1-hit many popular grinding maps after LV120, which means lots of easy mesos from grinding. What's better, the gears you buy for your F/P mage (such as INT bathrobe, earring, gloves, and shield) can double as HP washing gear for your hero later. Bishops are not as good for money-making in this version, because they have lower damage than arch mage (thus requiring lots of investment to 1-hit stuff), and their end-game grinding map (skeles) has very bad spawn. However, they are still much better than any non-mage classes in terms of farming. Moreover, Bishops are invited to boss runs, while arch mages cannot boss ever. So it's another choice to make depending on your personal taste. Make money really easily to support your hero: start with F/P mage Make some money while being able to boss on a supportive role: start with Bishop Hate mages, and don't mind farming for much longer on hero to accumulate funding: start with hero and stick to hero only.
I can't thank you enough for such detailed information. Appreciate it a lot. However, is it advisable to have Pure AP into HP after leveling. And -MP to main stat after lvl 50?
As you can see in the following reference table: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-reference-table.17093/ Adding LV up fresh AP to HP, then use AP reset to -MP + main stat gives you 50-54 HP at random. Using AP reset to directly -MP +HP gives you 50-55 HP at random. So the second method is slightly more preferable than the first one. One caveat though: In order to use AP reset to - MP + HP, you need to add a single LV up fresh AP to HP or MP before that. This only needs to be done one time. If you don't do this, the game won't allow you to - MP using AP resets. This constraint was placed to prevent people from having more stats than intended by converting HP / MP to arbitrary amount of stats. So basically, you need to: add 1 LV up fresh AP to HP or MP use 312 AP resets to - MP + HP use 1 last AP reset to - (HP or MP) and + stat to get back the first AP.
