Just a few days after finally hitting lvl 170 on my Drk... rip. Pity, because I found it actually exciting to run before this update. Now, I'm running for exp and the equivalent of 4 gach tickets. Lmao.
I used to do 2 runs of my 2 lv200 characters after work, and now the 500+ powder in my inventory become garbage. Well, I guess I can sleep early from now on ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Love this change for several reasons: - no more meso printing out of thin air - finally a new goal of ring upgrade - might push some players back to bossing - new HP alternative for those who didn't wash or want some more HP on their characters/don't like grinding HP quests - potentially lowers the price of AP Resets Overall W.
Wait so assuming I'm getting 20 bees per run x 30, that's +600 HP monthly and 7200 HP in a year (Although doing it for a year straight is insane)? That sounds like an amazing alternative to HP washing as I personally don't like having to rely on leeching to get to 135 and I can't stand doing HP quests . Also what if I add it to MP instead of HP? Would I be able to take out the excess MP to wash into HP? If yes that would make this even better...

yes you can. so funny enough, its a lot more worth classes like buccs and warriors to get the MP pot and use an APR to wash it out. You can still make money with rose garden, but now youll just have to gach them instead. The most time flexible solo content should have never the most effective form of meso gain for attackers by a large margin. Its still worth your time if you cant boss/leech, need ifia ring(s), need totems for VL belt, but it should never have outpaced bossing and gotten close to leeching profits.
Not everybody enjoys or prefers bossing/leeching as a playstyle. At least Rose Garden allowed attacker classes a viable alternative to leeching as a form of income. Should everyone be obligated to make a bishop and sell leech, or be forced to play the game in a way that they do not prefer? I understand that the nerf to RG was necessary from an economic standpoint. At least make the alternative rewards less soporific and RNG-dependent.

Easily the most mundane content in game Rose Garden Does not need washing investment Gave you consistent pure mesos, so was unaffected by most economy regulated price variations Used only gizers for most players Doesn’t need to waste time recruiting 1-3 other members with needed buffs/mules Players should not have to do anything they don’t want to, its a game, if its really not enjoyable they can turn it off with no repercussions and do something else unlike a job. The issues caused by RG before in my opinion: Was harmful for the bossing community, much less ppl were interested in bossing as theyd rather just relax/do something else after their rosegardens because they made enough mesos for the day/played enough royals for the day Skeles is vaguely 200-220m an hr. Most people on melee classes were clearing around 30-35mins 20bees. Thats around 175-200m an hr. The most accessible solo content should not be almost matching the most painful content in game thats supposed to be extremely rewarding Accelerated the devaluation of mesos. WA gears and perfect weapons were rapidly rising. This however was also heavily linked to the 1.2x perma drop rate bug, and was not the only reason for the inflation TLDR: Bossing should be more profitable (more wa pot investment + washing) Leeching must be much more profitable than RG (its literal labor for high meso rate and wasting mesos funding a mage) Pure consistent mesos had to go 100%. Gonna have to be RNG or an item reward that can fluctuate with supply/demand Perfectly fine to think the current RG rewards are too weak. Feel free to suggest a change.
If you were doing RG on Warrior/Shad/Mage and completing on Energizer in ~30mins, then RG is still very much worth to do since before you got ~130m value and it's been reduced to ~104m (+ hassle of needing to sell LHC gach loot). All other classes (Bucc, SE, NL, Sair, weak Mage) won't get that much benefit and should probably opt to kill KCG and call it (unless they need Bees/Totems for Ring/Belt/Manual). It doesn't look that great when you consider the fact that the attacker classes (Ranged) that'd want to get the additional HP will struggle to get 10~20 bees in a 40min setting. Reuel is ~35 HP in say ~30mins and this is 20 HP in ~40mins (assuming one even manages 20 bees). Let's say Reuel with ~35 HP / 30mins is ~ 1.167 HP /min and the Ranged attacker takes the whole 40mins to gather 20 bees in RG: If someone usually gets 10 bees per RG then the time spent for 20 HP = 0.25 HP / min If someone usually gets 15 bees per RG then the time spent for 20 HP = 0.375 HP / min If someone usually gets 20 bees per RG then the time spent for 20 HP = 0.5 HP / min It's ultimately not worth the time of anyone to do this for the HP and just stick to Reuel while doing RG for profit (totem exchange). They'd have to make the Vial give ~3-4 HP to be somewhat worth doing. But Staff probably wouldn't even be interested in this... . Anyone could tell at a glance the HP Vial value is bad... The HP Vial in the current state only benefits Mages right now since you don't have to do SP Reset -> APR and is a straight HP upgrade. The issue with the MP Vial is that you got to use your own money/NX to extract the HP. Warriors would benefit a lot but most people would already get enough excess MP from leveling + INT from attack gear (or wearing washing gear) to get to 30k HP by the time you're Lv170~200. So not worth it for Warrior. Maybe Buccs might see some benefit but assuming it takes Bucc roughly 40mins then the HP / min comes to about 1 HP / min over 5 RGs and you got to spend 50m (~10m APR) or 15.5k NX for it which knocks it down in value a bit. Other classes that'd want the HP primarily would just opt for the HP vial instead since if they're getting 20 bees per RG, then they get more value over the MP Vial. They'd also have to spend 50m (~10m APR) or 15.5k NX to extract the MP Vial too.

This is so unfair.. I have 7B worth of shiny powder and it’s all just gone?? Maybe allow those who have it in their inventory to sell it for mesos.. I’ve been saving them for ages..
