Coming back to MapleRoyals after 4-6 years and wanting to start off on the right foot, ran through the class tier lists to figure out what to try and landed on Night Lord. I have a warrior/hero from before this at Level 62. 4K HP, 262STR, 60DEX, and also 90m in mesos. But the thought of planning for HP washing is sucking the fun and life out of me, because here I am reading guides and thinking about what questions I had rather than playing and the first piece of INT gear I got was 6.6m +2 DEX +2 INT yellow snowshoes, not sure how I'm meant to afford all the basic INT gear. I have a lot of questions, if you know the answer to any, please pick those.. 1. Is there a list of common dirt cheap INT gear that my thief/rogue can wear? (currently I'm aware of yellow snoeshoes, wooden wand - though why would I equip a wooden wand, is it only when I'm about to level up?) 2. Do y'all use the cash shop owl every time you want to find something to buy? For 3 of these u could do an Ap reset, seems expensive.. 3. When (level-wise) do I start washing HP for NL? 4. Is there a place where acronyms are consolidated.. Like an acronym dictionary bc I'm STRUGGLING 5. Which class makes the most money? Looking for a way to fund my NL and from what I've read, Bishops are good then I gotta worry about washing that lil guy too 6. Is there a list of all the classes and their progressions in one place? 7. Should I try to make money by selling AP resets or keep them for myself? 8. I'll add more questions when I think of them..
Hi! Welcome back and good luck on your journey, I am also pretty much new here so I won't advice on if you should or shouldn't wash your NL, I'm sure others will do that. 1. There is no list that you can pick from but there are some cheap/free items you can get, I can give you 4 int earrings to start. Yes you would equip int gear on at 99.99% or as close as possible if you are not leeching. 2. You can join the discord and ask to buy/sell whatever you want if you are not in a rush, save the owl meso. 3. I think NL wash as they go with fresh AP, they gain hp differently than warriors so you would have to look at a specific NL wash guide or ask pros. 4. Discord questions tab or general chat will always answer you. 5. Mages in general - bishop can sell leech, other mages can farm for gear in maps like ulu1/2 to vendor or sell if godly stats, mages don't require washing for this purpose. 6. Idk what you mean so I'll skip this one. 7. Vote daily - then you choose will you gamble for gacha with high risk high reward or go for smaller but safer income? I do gacha at mushroom shrine for Chaos Scroll others sell APR at 12-13m each. Hopefully this helps, also if you do need 4 int earrings DM me and we can meet up.
1. I wouldn't recommend starting an NL with low funds as it's the most expensive class to both wash and gear. continue with your hero tbh 2. We buy it for 3m ea 3. From the get go 4. Ask away and you shall be answered 5. Bishop - easy to play and fund, can sell leech 6. You can check class guides and see what fits your desires the most. 7. Selling them is a safe way to slowly earn meso, I don't think it's profitable to save them if you're not planning on using them 8. Feel free to tag me.

1. I understand the gear part, but how is it more expensive to wash? Since thieves wash by putting fresh AP > AP reset to LUK/DEX? If I have 350k NX from voting years ago, does that help?
Thieves wash differently. They usually put fresh AP into HP at a later stage, while putting around 200 to 400 raw AP in int as soon as possible to get enough excess mp to wash. Means you need over 200 APRs just to clear excess MP and THEN over 250-close to 400 APRs to fully remove int. It depends on the amount of HP you're going for but it's just really expensive comparing to other classes
Defently do not recommend NL as a first char. If you still want to go down that route, skip washing now, you can't afford it. You could do quests later. Washing + grinding is pretty much impossible, you can't kill anything with 200 base int, not at low levels at least.
Thanks everyone! Just to clarify - if I’m doing NL then I should put all AP into INT till 200 base INT rather than following the AP build in the NL guide? When do I start placing fresh AP into HP? Regarding not being able to kill anything at 200 base INT, so I should use another character (currently doing bishop) to provide leech (I assume be in party with low level NL and just kill stuff?)?
