Hey guys. So I still haven't decided yet which job I should choose.
The character will be HP washed and budgeted (I hope haha).
While NLs are very popular in this server, they will need almost always the SE buff. Which is a huge weakness while bossing, in my opinion.
So I thought maybe opening a BM. The pros are ofcourse SE and the fact that it's almost demanded in every boss run.
But, if we're talking just about SE, why not opening a Marksmen?
If you were in my position which job will you choose? NLs are strong and main attackers, BMs are popular for both dmg and SE, and Marksmen aren't that popular but are almost same dmg like BMs.
Please help me decide. Thank you! :)

NL would be cheaper. Their hp wash ratio isn't as bad but they do have to use level up ap which can make washing complicated. Perf cravens are also one of/the cheapest perfect weapons.
NL and BM are both one key classes though, marksman at least you'd be pressing two. Plus it would benefit from your SI if you use it as a mule.

i would suggest u to go for BM if u're not really funded bcuz ppl seldom ask for BM range in a boss run , as for NL , ppl sure ask for ur range to decide whether or not to accept u in the boss run

NL isn't really cheaper, Nisrock is a lot cheaper than Craven right now (I saw some nisrocks sell for like 16b) and you don\'t have to spend any money on cilbis/furies. I don't really know about Xbow prices cause they are rare.
On the other hand NLs have cheaper washing and can use less apples in bosses so both classes are kinda equal in terms of price

Anyway about what class to make, it depends on your gear I guess. If your gear is weak make an MM, they can do decent damage with snipe even if you are weak but they scale poorly with range later on.
If your gear is like average make a BM, usually people don't care much about their range and you'd be stronger than an MM at higher lvls
If your gear is good (like at least 40-45 atk gear) make an NL and an SE mule (to get rid of the no se issue), NL is a lot stronger than archers and it can join HT and other high lvl bosses more easily because people have like 3-4 NLs but only 1 archer in a party. You can also do sed with it and duo client with your bishop more easily

Thank you guys for the answers.
If we are discussing about end game bossing, are BMs as demanded as NLs?
Like Ayane said, NLs are wanted for their high dmg for HT. Are BMs useful in terms of damage(attacker), or most of the parties have only 1 for SE while using another attackers?
    Thanks.

I feel like parties are looking for BM/MM pretty often. I usually don't find trouble finding bossing parties. Also nice being a BM because I'm poor and get carried. All I have to do is press SE :^)

If you are talking about performance in horntail (like damage per minute) nightlord GREATLY outperforms bowmaster. This is because in horntail you get hit a lot, and bowmasters lose alot of dps when you need to reposition (also when you get hit, hurricane stops attacking).

The same isn't really true for nightlords. They have high avoid so they don't need to reposition much at all, and when they are hit, it doesn't stop their attack. This, combined with the fact that nightlords INHERENTLY do more damage than bowmasters make them a much better class at HT.

Most parties will have only 1 archer for SE, and to be honest, it is more efficient to just mule SE and have all the attackers be nightlords.

For example, here's a post by a current end game player in royals that explains what I am trying to say:

So, my advice to you would be to go with either bm or NL, but if you choose to go BM, just note that it might end up becoming a SE mule for your NL.
