Hey I'm new around these parts! Loving the server, super nice users, and nostalgia so far. I apologize if this problem has been brought up already, but I've skimmed around for a similar bug report and couldn't find one, and no one's mentioned it in game-chat far as I've heard. For some reason enemies aren't giving drops for me any more. I've been experiencing this problem for about two days now. For reference, I thiiink it possibly started happening to me after I did the Utah's Pig Farm quest. No matter where I battle enemies, none of them will drop spoils, items, quest junk, mesos, ANYTHING. I get experience at least, but it's been problematic. Any suggested solutions? IGN: Corgi
This is due to the famous quest glitch. Forfeit all your quests, leave any party and relog. There used to be a notice in the yellow scrolly text on top of the client but it sometimes changes to more current matters. I'm sure there are other threads about this issue, just hard to find sometimes since most of us are aware of it, but not the cause. Sometimes there are specific quests that activates this and it helps to just forfeit that specific quest to fix it, and sometimes it just starts off in the middle of a grinding session, leaving you no choice but to forfeit all.
Oh yikes! QvQ That's a lot of progress I'm gonna lose on monster-kill-count quests, but it's better than never looting. Thanks so much for the prompt reply! Edit: SUCCESS! Didn't have to drop all my quests, and it's fixed! Thank you thank you!
