Punishment: Permanent ban.

Account Sharing - The act of sharing the use of your account, sharing account information with any other individual, or the act of logging into or otherwise using an account owned by another person, with or without permission, regardless of whether or not the information was directly or indirectly shared. Please be aware that, in some cases as per the discretion of Staff, we reserve the right to respond with less harsh punishment. See Appendix for more information.

Additional information regarding the above terms may be found in the following appendix, included assisting in better understanding of terms that may include special circumstances or situations. Please note that not all of the above terms may have further explanations.

Appendix: Account Sharing - This rule was altered in October of 2014 to respond to the growing number of people abusing the ability to share accounts for a variety of purposes that we deemed unacceptable. Eight scenarios for which account sharing will be considered an immediate permanent ban are the following:

1. Using power-leveling services;
2. Two or more people taking turns in leveling up a character (i.e. training);
3. Logging onto someone else's character in order to leech your own;
4. Removing items from or deleting someone else's character;
5. Giving an account with a high-leveled character on it to someone else;
6. Committing a bannable offense (other than just account sharing) on someone else's account;
7. Wasting Staff time by lying about the account sharing;
8. Sharing your account details with multiple people.

In any other situations, the default punishment will be a 30-day ban and potentially a reversal of actions taken during the share, however, this is still subject to Staff discretion and the involved parties may face a permanent ban regardless of their situation not being listed above. Finally, the use of the same account information as other locations such as your personal social media or any other game servers does not violate this rule, however, any individuals who access your account on the basis of knowledge of account information in other places do. You are responsible for the privacy of your own account information.

 

Hmmm Dasha, how do you define account sharing? i moved back to malaysia from singapore on june. i did not log in for 2-3 weeks. Is that why my account deemed as account sharing? one thing im sure i did not use any power leveling services other than paying to leech. There is no two or more people taking turns in leveing up my character, if so i wont be just lvl 161 until now.... i did not delete any other charcter and i did not pass account to someone high level. i did not comit any bannable offense on other's account. Im definitely not wasting staff time by lying about the account sharing. Lastly i did not share account details with multiple people. Seriously why would i share my account with multiple people....

Im abiding the T&C of MapleRoyal since the first day i play because im looking for a total clean and justice maples to chase back my nostalgia gaming experience... Im the 90's generation and im playing with a bunch of my high school mates... now i got banned...

Okay let me confirm this again, i did talked bout inheriting this account from my brother once in the FM. But im just joking at that time with 2 fellow strangers. My true intention of the act is to play dumb and noob so i can ask their atk range and what are the normally good range as NL. If that is the evidence you unable to disclose...thats beautiful misunderstanding i would say. I hereby clarified that this account only has 1 owner which is me, what supporting you want me to provide? if i possible to sort it out, i can prepare all for you just to appeal my ban.

p/s: if what i stated is true, forgive my dumb and naive act, i didnt know my silly acts can cause this big mess, i promise i wont say dumb things anymore in the game....

 

Besides that if you look at my login period of the game...i usually just online at evening or night time (GMT+8) It is not like my account online 24/7, letting others to help train my account or play my account. Everyday same routine, zak papu krex, im done for the day. My point is i dont share account and my level is the best evidence.... i played few months and my level still that low. I just log in casually bossing and afk at the fm. thats all

Infractions by Extension: Believable Claim - The act of making any claim or joke to have broken any other rule listed above that we deem believable, including posing, impersonating, or otherwise claiming to be a player who has broken a rule. Punishment: Identical to actually breaking the rule.

 

Hmmm alright then is it possible to ask for a less harsh punishment on this? if under thie believable claim, yes indeed. This is my first offence anyway and i promise will be the last, you wont see me appeal again if this happen again, all im asking maybe a 14 days ban for me? i do realize the strictness now.

 

No, as your case falls under several of the account sharing infractions that would be considered permanently bannable. The staff made a commitment to apply the Game Terms of Service without exception.
