The error presented by your web browser is indicating the DNS server is unable to resolve the domain name as expected. As to what is causing this specific instance I can only guess, however here are a few suggestions for you to try if you have not already done so:

    1. Restart the machine. Not Shutdown, not pressing and holding the physical power button, specifically Restart. The "Shutdown" command behaves differently in Windows 10 and instead of truly powering off the machine, it instead switches it into a hibernated state. Doing this provides the advantage of a quicker boot-up time, but at the sacrifice of never truly power-cycling the machine, which can cause a ton of issues the longer the machine goes without a proper power cycle. After a restart and when you've logged back in, try launching MapleRoyals and see if you still receive the same host error.
    2. Check your DNS settings: Control Panel (View by: is set to Large icons) -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings (option located on left-hand side of page) -> Right-click the active connection (Wifi or Ethernet) and select Properties. In the scroll-down list, click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and select Properties (make sure to not uncheck the box). In the DNS section, set it to "Use the following DNS server addresses:" option. The best ones to use for this case would be 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 1.1.1.1 as the secondary since MapleRoyals utilizes these public DNS servers. Apply the changes by pressing OK, then try launching MapleRoyals and see if this works for you.
    3. If an error is still presented, you can try flushing out your existing DNS cache, as well as renewing your current IP configuration. This can be done by typing out three simple commands in a command prompt (may need to run as Admin depending on your computer/user policies):
    ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release (this command "releases" your reserved IP address, which will take your computer network down until you Restart, or run the next command)
    ipconfig /renew

Your network will re-connect after the new IP reservation is received, which normally happens within 5 seconds of launching the last command. Try launching MapleRoyals after this process completes and see if this works for you.

If all of the above doesn't work, updating your computer's drivers and updating to the latest version of Windows 10 can fix strange issues with network connections. If you have the ability it may be wise to try checking if MapleRoyals will launch as expected on another computer in your environment so you can isolate if it is the machine or your entire network having the issue. If you find it is network-wide and not specific to one machine, your best bet will be to work with your ISP on a solution.

    Best of luck!!

    thank you slingy.
i followed your no.2 guide and it works for me. Just that the waiting time for the client to load is very long then usual.

    Many thanks to you.
