Hello all, My name is Jonathan. Like most of you, I'm assuming, a craving for nostalgia brought me here. I played back when there were only the four main explorer classes. I started when I was about 13 or 14 I think, a total agoraphobic homeschooled weirdo with a myriad of issues. I think on some level, not to sound cliche, Maplestory helped me through it. When you're a kid whose life isn't considered ideal escaping into a fake world as magical as 2008-era MS really was such an effective tool in dealing with it (or not, I suppose, perhaps just escapism). I'm 22 now, finishing a BA in English Lit and a manager at a sub shop, and I suppose I want to recapture the magic that sad little kid felt (too introspective?). I'm honestly kind of a loner player as it's hard for me to develop a niche with online players, but from what I can see the community seems very glowing, but maybe that's because a lot of us are probably adults with fond memories. I hope to see you guys soon when I get the game running. ^^
