Untill they make ranged attackers more balanced (bm/mm/NL/sairs) i call upon u ARCHERS to Boycott Bosses and Pqs.
we want for MM: strife (higher % than current)
we want for BM: concentrate skill stacks with att potion/Hurricane +10/20%dmg.

These changes i and other archers want is not gonna make these classes equal, its just gonna make us archers not feel like a support class and feel better about our dmg.

This will just push people to make an SE mule if they haven’t already. If you want changes to your class, try a feedback thread. I also remember the dps chart Tim made showing bm having the 3rd highest dps under their test conditions.

 

how will ppl make more SE mules... i think the contrary. people will start maining BM/MM. The reason we got SE mules is because of SE and nothing more

 

Just invite 5 BM/MM+1Bishop for your boss runs. Problem solved (for you).

 

More BMs will be made, but an increasing number and percentage will be SE mules.

Stop with this nonsense please. If you don’t like the classes and balancing of pre-BB gMS you probably shouldn’t choose to play a pre-BB server.

 

Yeah, if you want to play on this server, you're only allowed to main Night lord. The only other time you can use any other class is for leeching your NL since you obviously need to Hp wash it to 30k, and your bowmaster for SE. Who cares if you want to play a different class and not be so overshadowed that you might as well not contribute; play NL or find a different server.

Exactly, the reason why they're called Night-Lords is simply because every class exists only to serve them in some way. They're not called Night-Peasant for a reason. This is how you break down every single class in NLstory:

Night Lord: LITERALLY THE GREATEST AND MOST IMPORTANT CLASS IN ALL OF EXISTENCE .....Bow you peasants


Bowmaster/Marksman: Exist to give NL's SE (This is so central to these classes that they are only allowed to be called SE, not their actual names)

Bishop: Exist to give HS to NL's (Also so central that they're only allowed to be called HS, not Bishops), and to door and leech NL's.

Arch Mage: Also exist to leech NL's

Hero: Exist to clear mobs to allow NL's have a clear shot and to be seduce mules for HT

Dark Knight: Exist to give NL's Hyper Body (Although any real NL would be washed to 30k, so in reality it's useless, but it's a kind jester regardless)

Paladin: Exist to cancel boss's weapon cancel so NL's can keep attacking, can also be seduce mule for HT

Shadower: Exist to give smokescreen for NL's and to drop loads of money as offerings to NL's.

Buccaneer: Exist to use Time Leap to more important classes so they can keep buffing NL's (NL's spit on Speed Infusion)

Corsair: Literally garbage, only exist to be lame NL wannabes, further proving that NL's are the greatest class.

What you should be asking for is a nerf of both nl and sairs, not a buffing of archers because that would lead to calls for other classes to be buffed. The neverending buff of all classes will lead to the mess called big bang eventually.

But how much nerf is the right amount? Till corsairs and NLs deal equal damage as archers? What is the point of creating corsairs and NLs then?

Exactly. On a serious note, archers have moderate ranged damage and provide a powerful support skill. NLs and Corsairs provide little to no party support skills but their whole archetype is damage damage damage.

Also who is this "we" and "us" you keep referring to. I've never heard of anyone who asked for such a thing before.

Current iteration of archers is pretty balanced. You shouldn't have the best bossing class also be a ridiculous supporting class. I think you're playing the wrong class if your primary objective is to do max single target dps.

 

Wrong. I don't even have a single thief character let alone a NL and I am heavily against your suggestion.
