OMOK Double Elimination Tournament

HERE WE GO.

Omok is working again.
Here is your chance to bond/salt with the community.
I'll keep it short and simple.

Rules:

1. Must apply here or you will not be able to participate.
2. Optional 10.309m entry fee through my shop (10m after 3% tax). If you entered with entry fee, you will have a chance to win the lump sum of all the entry fee in the bucket if you win the tournament. If you win the tournament without paying the entry fee, you do not get any money and the money automatically goes to the runner up who actually paid the entry fee. I'll be collecting the entry fee. No refund unless the tournament was cancelled or you backed out before the tournament starts.
3. The game will be best 2 out of 3.
4. It's players' responsibility to meet up and play the other player. If a person doesn't respond within 48 hours in the game or on the forum, that player automatically forfeit, and the other person advanced to the next tier.
5. If the two player cannot find a time to meet up, I'll arrange a different match up or extend the 48 hours time limit.
6. After all the names filled the bracket, I'll perform a coin toss to determine who is the host and who is the challenger for each match up. The host will open the game, and will be able to make the first move. If the host do not own a set of omok or both players do not own a set of omok, you may borrow from a friend or borrow from me with a deposit equal to the omok set's value. I'll return the money when the omok set returns to me.

I don't know the exact rules of omok in maplestory, since I have never played it myself.

However, if it implements the gomoku game without the "swap-2" rule, then there is a strategy that guarantees the player making first move always wins: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomoku#Computers_and_Gomoku

Of course, this doesn't prevent friends from having fun in this mini-game. However, if a tournament like this will be hosted, some rules need to be set to prevent people from using this. For example, you could implement a "swap-2" rule by asking the players to reopen games and play the beginning moves of other side if the 2nd player chooses to switch.
