Hi! I saw others had this issue when I searched it, but it seems like it might be character-based? So I'm making a new thread (sorry if that means I waste anyone's time, I know how annoying that can be). Character Name: Drizztt Where are you having an issue(s): Any maps (So far 2x in Event PQ, once leaving FM1 into FME, and once when owling) Date and Time when issue(s) occurred (GMT): around 13-15GMT on 6/13/23 (never happened before now) Details of the issue: Originally, I had 3 clients open for Event PQ, when my NL Drizztt crashed. Naturally we assumed it was due to the 3 clients; we tried again with me having 3 clients and she crashed again (both times near/at end of PQ, with no prior symptoms of lag on any client, and no crash or lag of any kind on the other 2 clients). We then successfully finished Event PQ while I was only on 1 client (the crashing NL), but when I went into FM1 and tried to leave back into FME, she blackscreened again (at the time I had 1 other client open, who was fine with no symptoms of lag). Each time this happened, I had to fully restart my laptop to "save" my NL. The final time she froze was when I was owling, I had just opened the owl to the item page showing results when it happened. It seems to be if I went thru a portal (portal in Event PQ/ portal in FM) it was a black screen+dc, and if i was just sitting (doing owl/finishing Event PQ in main map) it simply froze the screen and dc'd me. Not sure if that info is important. She also didn't have any NX changes today, so I doubt that's it. Sorry again if I'm wasting time, hopefully she can be saved soon ;u; I'm not tech-savvy in any way so I could've easily missed something simple. What error code were you given(if any): none If it can be replicated, please provide a screenshot or recording of the issue occurring: N/A EDIT: I messed around with her NX, changing her outfit didn't seem to help, but when I changed her hair/eyes, she is playable again. SO, not sure if it's a combo of items or a specific item but here is what she had, in case this helps anyone else: (Dark) Blue Bummed Eyes Brown Layered Curl Hair Pink Oversized Beret (this is something I'm suspicious of, if it's not the hair/eyes) Pink Frill Pajama Top /Cowgirl Shorts Party Popper Weapon Yui's Wings (still worn, not dcing) DCing continued to happen at random times up until this change (not skill-related or attack-related, happened when afking or portals or entering CS, so it's very random). She's playable now but hopefully this can be sorted/this helps someone else!
