https://bbb.hidden-street.net/sub_quest/ludus-lake/operation-strategy-3-a-cute-baby-bird This quest is buggy in many ways. 1: the baby bird doesn't always accept the springy worms when you feed it. 2: if you decide to not do the quest, there's no way to get rid of the egg in your etc. inventory - Forfeiting the quest does not remove the egg. - Trying to drop the egg prompts a message saying you are not allowed to drop it - The quest npc offers an option to give up on raising the egg, but pressing this does nothing. In the end I was forced to complete the quest to get rid of the egg which did reward me nicely (11 fame!) but the quest is bugged nonetheless
For the record: This is a general known bug with feeding UI (happens in numerous events, like Easter for example) where the fix is closing the UI and reopening it. Thanks for reporting the bug, fellow quester.
