Right now, paladin are welfare heroes. They perform the same utility- multiple melee dps, with atrocious range and mediocre 1v1 dps. No endgame boss is elemental weak, and yes theyre A BIT better at grinding than the other 2 warriors, but if you want efficient tot grind as your endgame, just make a damn mage lmao. Their identity should be similar to that of archers- high utility at bosses with mediocre, supporting but contributing dps. thats why i suggest giving them MAGIC CRASH- a post big bang warrior skill (that replaced current royals power crash, armor crash etc) which silenced bosses for 20 seconds with 60 second cd- ie, removes their ability to cast cancel weap/magic attack and other buffs for 20 out of 60 seconds. Right after big bang (2010-2011), the zak meta was 3 warriors all casting magic crash in succession, timing it so zak was permanently silenced + bs, se, dps. I suggest giving this ability ONLY to paladins, so as for them to have a purpose in being taken to runs. Maybe also give them proper shield mastery to reinforce their cc tank identity- remember after bb pallys took 1 dmg at lhc? Perhaps nerf their damage too, so that the difference in dps between a hero whos purpose is purely aoe dps and no utility, and a pally is big enough so as not to make heroes suddenly non viable.
But we already have "Total Crash", it's big, yellow, and beautiful. :0 If Paladins really still need more buffs for an identity, it should be for being a tank.
I can’t tell if this a meme post or not seeing how we just got the update teaser. They are getting Total crash as stated above that cancels both watt and matt, and they are getting heavens hammer changes it looked like.
