This is my experience as a solo player, so take it with a grain of salt.

ToT spawn is really really good.
In my opinion, Road of Regrets 4 is an excellent training spot for Paladins. Mobs are Lightning weak and go down really fast. It's also easy to find an empty map (I trained there during last 2xExp Event, and I've been completely alone the whole time).

When I go to Skele, I tend to avoid the crowd, and train to Nest of a Dead Dragon (the map before the popular one). I generally ignore the bottom platform and rotate middle+top. Spawn is fair.
Once you have Holy/Divine Charge Skeles become super squishy, but I'd say that RoR is better.

    Good luck!

Personally I've tried both, and I found that %exp/time wise there's not a significant difference. Knight of Regrets on RoR4 are very scarce comparing to Guardians, and exp/hp wise they're pretty much the same.
RoR4 layout feels more dynamic and accessible, at least from a solo perspective; RoR5 has only one access point to the top plats from the right side, while RoR4 has stairs on both sides, more platforms, and you can down-jump practically from any point of the map (on RoR5 you can't down-jump from the left side of the big top plat).
Drop wise, on RoR4 you have a slightly larger drop pool (Knight or Regrets drop Stance 30 and Earring INT 10%), while on RoR5 you have a chance to find Lilynouch.

Uhm. In the end, I guess that's a matter of personal preference. ^_^'

Hey, did you ever grind Blue/Red Kents instead of Wolf Spiders during your 80s? I want to make use of my elemental buffs, but is it worth it to abandon Wolf Spiders for it?

HeavensFeel is my IGN by the way.
