When I click for the quest to receive a piece of crack, Mr.Bouffon talks but the quest itself is never activated. its the 2 nd time in a row that this happens to me. I hv all my cracks stored up and restarted the client but it didn't solve anything. ive also waited 1 day and a couple of hrs to redo it but its still bugged. - when I relog, the quest itself disappears. have any1 encountered this problem?
Unfortunately, I have tested out the quest on my legit and had no problem. I had multiple pap cracks as well, that I dropped instead of storing. I completed the quest on my GM not to long afterwards and tomorrow I'll find out if I can get another crack, this way I know if the issue can be replicated or if it's just your character. **Someone else did come into the map and got one just fine. If anyone else has this issue, please make it known! It'd be much appreciated.
The description in the OP is exactly what happens with the NPC when the timer is not up yet. You can see the quest, but cannot accept it, and if you relog without leaving the map that the NPC is in, the quest bubble will not disappear. If jessyjinx was absolutely certain that he had passed 24 hours since turning in the quest previously, and was able to turn it in twice in 8 hours on another char, then perhaps there is a problem with the timer of the NPC?
In every P-server I know of (v62) repeatable quests are bugged and show earlier as available again than they actually are. Example, you need wait 24 hours to repeat the quest but they are available again after 12 on the client. BUT they won't activate if you talk to them because there's a second server check done and thus the server rejects it because the REAL timer is not over yet... Sounds bit complicated but this is how it is really. I am unsure how its bugged in Royals but I imagine its pretty much the same. So the solution to this is write/look at the time you have done the repeatable quest and come back after the real 8 hours are over. Every quest should be char-based only meaning an other character should not ruin the timer from your other.
