Hey fella maplers! I try my best to do 2 pap's each day, since the exp is nice and I get quite a lot of 5k nx cards from him, It feels like for the time I spend on each pap, I get nice %'s of ROI for my time. However, This past week (And in general, this happens quite a bit) I find myself going into the pap chamber only to see other people sitting there, thus 'wasting' my run. Only today, I was informed via discord that you can still leave in a minute (Which I wasnt aware of) or so without losing your run, however sometimes you enter right after people and you get stuck with them. and since it seems that people don't drop etc\mesos outside to inform of their presence, I am suggesting the following: Make pap chamber party locked. What does it mean? When ever someone enter's an empty chamber, only his party members will be able to enter with him. This way, no one can crash your run, or lose his because he joined yours. How will this work? When a player already is inside and you are not a part of his party, a message will show up on chat saying "Another party is already inside Papulatus chamber." Con's: This might cause an issue that people will try to 'block' channels and just stay there afk. How to solve: have a 5 minute timer for spawning. once entered, the clock starts ticking, if no member in the chamber spawned pap after 5 minutes, they should all be kicked out and have a cooldown to enter of 30minutes. If you got kicked out, and tried to enter again, you will get a message on chat saying "You are not allowed to enter Papulatus chamber for another X minutes!" \ "A strange force is blocking you from entering the chamber. try again later". This way, whoever afk's there or take too much time will just be kicked to the outer map, and wont be able to enter for another 30minutes, but not 'losing' his run, incase they just delayed in setting up. I know this probably wont be top priority to implement, but I feel like to whoever is doing pap regulary, this will be a nice QoL and will make it more convenient to run. Thanks for reading! I 100% agree with this. When I used to pap more frequently I would run into people probably 3-4/10 times because they forgot to drop an item or coin to let people know it was taken. I’ve also run into an issue where even though i’ve left within 30 seconds (or less), my run was counted for some reason.
Honestly up until today I wasn't even aware you can 'save' your run if you exit right away.. I always told the people inside about the items, thus leaving and losing my run. Sorry to hear you lost your runs even when quickly leaving.. Hopefully this could be taken into consideration and help us on the matter
I guess what you're suggesting is the same as how Chao & Ephenia map works. You have to be in a party to enter the map and if a party is already inside, others cant enter. I do Pap daily and I too had my shares of runs being wasted as people forget to drop item/coin. +1 for me
