Hi everyone, i need a few advices about computer specifications, if someone know about this i would really apreciatte any help 1.-I have now a little old (2015) pc, whos now exclusively for playing royals, and i have to reboot it soon. Woul u recomend to install windows xp instead of current windows 7? waht antivirus should i get? any other thing i should program to it? 2.-i may get a new pc in a few months, what would be the BETTER specifications for royals?. i mean graphic card, system device, operative ssytem, etc Thank u in advance
I believe the recommended windows is 7-10 for royals now. There isn't much reason to install windows xp unless thats your only option. Regardless of the antivirus, you should turn it off while installing royals and then set the Mapleroyals folder as an exception/exclusion. Only other program you may need is the C++ visual mentioned on this post. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-60-client-startup-errors.137658/ If you get a new pc, a recommended graphics card would be AMD Radeon or use Intel hd integrated graphics. Maplestory has always had issues with Nvidia geforce cards. Of course, you can still get an nvidia but you'll need to change gfx more often. OS is already answered in the first question since the game doesn't run on MacOs and such as of now. Also, make sure your monitor refresh rate is 60hz or above to prevent most start-up issues. Not much else to recommend on hardware though in regards to running the game.
After playing royals for so long, i became a big fan of AMD Radeon! I’m no professional in the side of Computer Specs, but i have to say! Using a AMD , i never ever had any Graphics/DC issues, i don’t even GFX in them! Meanwhile compared to my Nvidia Desktop. Which DCs me very very usually in Boss Contents.
