I am not sure if this is intentional but the Nest Golems at Peak of the Big Nest do not drop their etc. or monster cards (they do drop their equips). The monster book does not open when you double click them, either. I have trained here in "original" Maplestory and I remember collecting the nest etcs from them.
I noticed this issue a very long time ago while hunting monster cards. There are two versions of Nest Golems: ones that spawn from Jr. Newties and ones that are sprinkled in on their own. The ones sprinkled in on their own are the problematic ones. Though, clicking on either one of them pulls up the monster book, so I haven't encountered your problem there. Will try to have it sorted either way.
