Permabanned, don't know why

John's been leaving me hanging the past 2 days, so I guess I'll make a ban appeal.

I got 3 day banned almost immediately upon my start in the old server because I didn't read the rules. I never came back after the 3 days, which was about 3-4 weeks ago. Recently after I'd spent 4 days on the forums trying to figure out why I was being disconnected, John informed me I was permabanned, and left it at that. There is nothing else I could have possibly done to get banned, since I never returned until recently. I guess when I was banned it accidentally got changed to a perma? I'd really like to get this resolved
