To those who haven't played WoW or other MMOs, the /played feature shows how long you've played your character, and how long you've played your character at that level, though the latter isn't completely necessary. Sometimes I think it'd be neat to see how much of my life I'm wasting playing a computer game. I don't really know how hard it is to implement this, and if it is I feel there are more important things that could be done instead of this. However, I thought I might as well try.
It would not be possible to figure out how long people have already been playing their characters for as there is nothing that has been keeping track of that. There is only the date and time the character was created.
