    Hey everyone!

So as the title says, I've been thinking about MapleStory recently (I always think about MapleStory and old-school Flyff V6) and would love to actually play the game again. I had a group of friends I met on The Sims Online that introduced me to MapleStory and afterwards Flyff.

I never really got too far in the game, my fondest memory was farming slimes in a tree near Ellinia and ogling at Novina? Novinha? A top leveled player. I think I made it to I/L Mage, and not too far after that I stopped playing MapleStory in favor of Flyff. I never learned the value of items, selling.. Gear etc.

Anyway I digress, TLDR: I'd love to play MapleStory again and am wondering what class is generally the best to get into the game with, level, make money etc.

ice/lightning or fire/poison. f/p is the cheapest and you can farm mesos to fund your main class.

That would be Novinha 3rd ever Gms and Warrior 200. You are certainly showing some age there haha.

You can make anything and be successful here. Some classes just inherently come with a built easy mode into them, Mainly the 3 Mage trees, Bishop, F/p and I/L. You can absolutely get away with replicating that memory of the slime tree you have on here. The slime tree you're referring to still exists. The music of that map is one of my favorite ever. I/Ls are great for making money. And have several late game places they can train. Once youre 4th job you can sell leech, though i find that extremely boring. Could just grind mob drops and npc to make meso. You could also pick a specific item and farm for it. Or after you made some friends you can try LHC once your much higher level and hope.to get lucky with totems. Though if you weree to ask my personal opinion id try not to burden yourself too much thinking about all that cause it can sap some of the joy out of the game. Focus on reliving the nostalgia, and once you think youve done that, then choose how you wanna go about continuing your journey!!

You can't really LHC on I/L (because no one does blood reindeer).
Generally, F/P is much better for a few reasons (cheaper, can do lhc, etc).

F/P is more self sufficient too. You don’t need to buy leech to level through the 3rd job to lv 12X phase. U can just poison mist and will level very quickly and can farm mobs for items to sell/npc as well.

otherwise, can try bish. U can always find someone to leech u at BF @ lvl 105 onwards by providing free hs lvl 135 can go other bosses for leveling. Good exp, but not as self-sufficient imo when levelling to 4th job. Oh, and genesis is expensive too
