I want a black dragon pet BUT u have to get the tiny one, lvl it to 15, complete quest, buy an evolution rock, THEN after that there's only a small chance it'll be black and most likely any other color. I found a site saying "If you didn't receive the colour you wanted, you can re-evolve your pet by accepting the "Pet's Revolution" quest and buying a new Rock of Evolution.It's impossible to receive the same colour you currently have from this quest." I bought 3 dragon pets, evolved all. Wanted Red, Blue and Black BUT after getting Blue (got red in old source), I spent 9 Evolution rocks trying to change the colour of the 3rd dragon pet to Black but all my attempts failed miserably due to stupid RNG. I always got Blue or Green. Now I just gave up and kept Red, Blue, Green. So to answer your question, yes you can change the colour.
