Heya! Your friendly neighbour SnoopGiraffe is back and is trying to waste his time on this planet. Just another of those polls since again, I'm curious. Anyway, title. Whats do you like the most about the game? Disclaimer: The title says v62/83 since if you like something like idk cygnus knights, or cubes, or stuff that doesnt exist on the server at this given time, it will most likely not be an option in the poll. Once again I might have forgotten really big stuff since Im usually dumb, so type something below if its not up there^ Will update and add my opinion if the poll goes well and people are voting and stuff. Remember: Every opinion should be respected by everyone, even if you disagree with it. (Personal opinion: For me v62 was a weird experience. At the time, I was not able to read in English, and I didnt know english at all. All I did is to create a character, level it up to around 30 which I really struggled and took shit loads of time, and repeat. So coming to royals was nostalgic for me, but I didnt remember anything besides the amazing BGM, and some of the monsters. So im actually experiencing maplestory v62 for the first time in this server, which so far is amazing. I havent reached bossing yet so its irrelevant to me, and pqs are fun and all, but for me, the BGM is the most nostalgic, and most incredible thing. I have listened to hours upon hours of the BGM and its incredible. You know that moment when you hear a song that reminds you of something? I get that every time I listen to maplestory BGM, I remember the days, where I was young and innocent, had no problems, all the free time, food, love I needed. Going to the military soon, that feeling is very relaxing. Just trying to feel like im that young little kid again, helps me ignore all the problems that I know. I dont really mind people not playing with bgm, but when I was with my friends in Maple Island, and we were talking about the game and how fun it is to come back, the first thing I did is to go to the options and put BGM volume on max. For me, BGM wins without doubt.)

Feel like I've met a lot of cool, fun individuals in this server who I've really bonded with either in FM or while grinding. Think my favorite aspect has to be socializing and talking with new people
Are that many people playing without BGM? Like I listened to the full game bgm through a playlist on youtube( LINK ) and soundcloud(250+ songs) and it was incredible. Though every person I asked said he is playing with the BGM off anyway.
The whole economy thing - buying, selling and scrolling, especially scrolling (except chaosing, I suck at it). Takes care really well of my gambling instincts. I never had a high level character in GMS, I was just sitting in FM most of the day/hunting mini bosses for scrolls. Still was richer than most high leveled players I knew. These are my main memories from this game. That's actually one of the main reasons I came back.
Nothing specific. I just didn't like the versions starting from potential onwards. Maybe 1 or 2 before potential, before Chaos bosses were added.
The removal of secondary stats, accuracy, potentials, cubes, and the complete reworking of classes/maps killed maple for me. :/
Back in the day I didn't really experience much of v62/83 (Thus why I'm here of course) so I can't really say anything in regards to bossing and I'm absolutely horrible at trading/marketing. Though one of the things that keeps me coming back is that feeling of accomplishment -- Reaching higher levels everyday, advancing through your job and watching your character become more and more powerful the more time and funds you put into them. It's always satisfying when you can finally equip that perfect weapon you've been waiting so long to use! Something else that arguably I haven't gotten to experience much of either because I'm rather introverted is the social aspect of the game. I've played with friends a few times and it was honestly the most fun I've had with the game, though I've never actively been apart of the more social side of things.. Scrolling is always fun as well, especially when you finally land something solid. That however, is just the gambler coming out of me.
I'm really about the game itself, your option #5. It does eventually get a little too quiet without buddies or a guild, but I've spent the vast majority of my Maple time (on GMS, SydneyMS, and Royals) completely alone, rarely seeing another person, and that suits me fine. Having a community is a mixed bag. There are the good things, like camaraderie with your guildies and making close friends: It's nice to always have someone to 'wb' you, no matter what time of night you log on. There are the neutral things, like smegas: They're irritating, to be sure, but it frees you to do the same if you're so inclined. And then there are the bad things, such as grown ass adults whining like small children over the details in a free of charge collection of pixels, or grown ass adults bragging about their achievements and having big dick contests about their items in a game that's best described as "tea service for 200, and the tea is microdosed with LSD." That being said...for me, the good outweighs the bad.
