So I died from lag and lack of magic guard, and when I clicked the return to town, the message disappeared. I figured I should just re-log, so I did, and then died again, and lost exp twice. Pretty sure that's 20% gone. Not a huge deal, and I don't really care about getting it back, so if I can be given back 10% or something it's up to whoever, if it's a simple fix.
