We don't have a rule that dissallows people to make fake Abuse reports to get an innocent person banned. 32. Attempt or succeed at getting someone banned with the use of edited screenshots/video, or other material consisting of untruths; 14 day ban?, Further Report Abuse's will no longer be valid or monitored closely? Also, what should we do when making new rules? Should we say anyone that has broken them please come clean within 5 days or you will be affected by the new rule if caught?
I think rule 28 is exactly what you propose: Making a believable claim to have broken any of the other rules in the T&C, including but not limited to posing as another player who has broken these rules. Punishment:The same punishment as theproclaimed offense or offender
I meant that let's say I hate someone and decide to report this someone for something they didnt do using carefully crafted screenshots. I wouldn't be making a claim to have broken a rule, I'd be making a claim that the person I hated broke a rule. Maybe we can just rephrase that rule to make it go both ways. I understand exactly what you're saying. I definitely agree and will look towards amending rule 28 to reflect it going both ways.
