I sold 2 hours leech to Potentiate and Meruru I did 2 full hours and it got roll back for an hour They are asking for refund Issit even far towards me?
Does it not mean that he sat there for at least 2 hours though? I'm meruru and I got roughly 1.2~1.4 levels so it seems like he at least spent around an hour leeching us (or we got ~an hours worth of exp). Regardless of how much exp we would have gotten in the ladder hour, it seems pretty unfair that because of the server roll back, one of us is either out 35M (either 35M worth of time (an hour), or 35M in mesos/exp).
Many of us lost 1 hour of time. I myself lost 1 hour of loot money in ULU2 (about 60M). I am just glad that I didn't scroll anything in that hour XD One solution would be a server-wide compensation. Say if they compensate 1 hour of double exp card, then seller can keep the money, and buyer can get 2H worth of exp from a later 1H leech.
Come on, its impossible for me hit the mob every 5minutes just to own up the map for 2 hours. Mapowner gets reset after sometime if you stop hitting ==!""" And potentiate was there talking to me at the 2nd hour when i told him something is wrong with the server and he replied me "just carry on".
It is possible to keep the map owner by just attacking every couple of minutes. If you knew something was wrong with the server you should have stopped and either resumed the leech at another time or refunded the remaining time. If the person you were leeching told you not to worry about it, then dont worry about it. They didnt mind knowing the server was having problems so you shouldnt worry about refunding as long as you really were there leeching.
Though we can speculate that there are problems with the server, there's no indication that there will be a rollback or, even if there is, the extent of the rollback. The fact that he was there for two hours shows that he had invested two hours of time into the agreed upon leech; so, "just attacking every couple minutes" to maintain map owner is more of a question of the quality of leech, which is besides the point. It's evident that the rollback affected a lot of people, so the problem here is that those people lost an hour (whether in time, experience, money, scrolls, etc.) and the question is who should compensate. Staying within the scope of the original post, is it fair that server-side issues that create client-side problems have forced client-side users to deal with those problems? Not really.
No, it is not fair. Yes! The server was rolled back 1 hr approx and I can confirm that. However this is not your fault. I guess you kept the mesos since they paid you 2 hrs in advance? If that’s the case that’s your own luck. You are not obligated to refund them as you spent 2 hrs of your real time leeching them and if there is someone to blame is the server for crashing and not you. It’s like that dude who scrolled a 20b sock but got rolled back and never got refunded.
You bought 2h of his time (where he's supposed to leech you). If he did 2h, then there's nothing to talk about. Doesn't matter that your levels got rollbacked. A man has fulfiled his duty and did what he got paid for. In my eyes, he's free to go without any regrets. Sorry you lost levels, but it ain't his fault at all. Just unlucky.
It would be decent of you to give half the money back, but previous posters are correct that you're under no obligation to provide any refund.
