Question 1: what’s the best way to upgrade your equipment for the mesos-to-dmg ratio?

    For e.g
Weapon>glove>cape>shoe>helm etc helm being the last to upgrade

Question 2: how do ppl earn money thru bossing? So far ive earned all my money thru selling leech and im done with it as my attacker is finally set up. I dont feel like selling leech anymore but it feels like the fastest way to earn mesos :/ however the pros in royals seem to be able to earn money even without selling leech so what’s the thing im missing?

Usually it's best to upgrade weapons first, but when it comes to the gloves, capes and shoes you can use this: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/guardians-guide-to-good-attack-gear-balance.109754/
I don't even know if people earn so much money through bossing haha! But it's a bit, I guess. Selling Horntail Pendants would be the best way, I assume. Selling Zakum Helms is what I do (cuz I ain't strong enough for HT) and it's not really that profitable. Best case scenario is a VIP buyer needing HB, I can charge 120M. If I do trio I get 30~40M depending on if HS is a mule or a player. Takes about 30 minutes to get those mesos... also remember to subtract cost of attack potions. Then you can get lucky, and get a nice skillbook drop! In the case for Zakum, it'd be Genesis20. Droprate is like 5% though?

Zakum yields little or even negative profit. Frequently the split from buyers doesn't even cover heartstopper cost (which is pretty much the required attacking pot for random parties). This is especially true now since heartstopper just inflated from 350K each to 550K each due to the drop nerf.

If gen20 drops (very rare), there will be some profit, but it is still lackluster, because gen20 price is at an all-time low right now (only 750M each right now, used to be 1.2-1.5B each).

Some people sell Krex leech / ring service, but usually you need to be already funded and capable of killing Krex fast in order to do that, so it's a chicken and egg problem.

The sad truth is that bossing doesn't earn you any money before you are strong enough to HT.

If you don't want to sell leech but are willing to farm alone, there are several good locations too. One example is Memory Lane 5, where the Chief Memory Guardians drop Helmet INT 60% (8.5M each market price now). With a 1-hit mage you get 10-15 scrolls per hour, plus the 20M / H NPCed equips. That adds up to 100M - 120M per hour.

Or you can make multiple characters capable of summon farming (Bowman and Mage) and summon farm Voodoos, Leprechauns, Psycho Jacks, or even Miner Zombies (usually with friends for Miner Zombies to cover the entire dead mine II). The money isn't much per character, but adds up for each character you create. Plus it's very easy, since you only need to press 1 button every 3 minutes. Some people do this all day while studying and make 700M - 1B per day.

Merching is a viable route too. After you save some money from grinding, you can buy event stuff during event and sell them later to boost your assets. E.g.:
    • Clean red socks were 1B during Christmas event, but sells for 1.6-1.8B after event.
    • Wand event scrolls were 150M during anniversary event, but sells for as high as 350-400M after event.
    • Slime tank chairs were 1B during Valentine event, but sells for 1.4B now.
    • Bow 30% and Claw 30% were 7M and 16M respectively during Valentine event, but prices are already rising after event ended. It takes some time to cash them out, but I believe they will eventually rise to at least 13M / 25M each.
If you are willing to learn the market prices of all items, you can also browse FM from time to time and buy-low-sell-high. This takes quite some dedication, but works without events.

Or just play casual and don't aim to be strong enough for HT in a couple of months. Farm only when you feel like doing so, gach with vote NX, and gradually accumulate vast amount of wealth over 1-2 years :D

It depends on how strong your items is, try the upgrade with the cheapest attack:meso ratio (usually it's claw, but if your claw is strong then it's cheaper to upgrade other things)
Helm is probably the cheapest to upgrade (just reloot some and scroll with 60%) so it should be one of the top priorities.
And only HT gives serious money, Zak barely gives any money at all and Krex gives none as well.
