Sometimes, when I click on the MapleRoyals.exe desktop shortcut I get this message:

At least once a day, the .exe file gets removed from the install folder, and replaced with this: sxeC423.tmp. I added mapleroyals to my antivirus exclusions list but it doesn't help, and I'm not sure where the file ends up.
Any way to fix this? Thanks

Only conclusion I can derive is that the .exe file got virus-chested by your antivirus. Try excluding the whole MapleRoyals file instead after you have restored it from your anti virus. Most antivirus allows you to restore quarantined items.

As for the tmp file, just leave it. It's automatically generated when you run the client and will be destroyed once you end the client, but it might stick around if the client crash unexpectedly, and if that's the case you would have to remove it manually yourself, no harm.

Disable your antivirus and try playing.
