Hey guys, I was applying for the voting whitelist, and everything was going swimmingly until I clicked "create thread" and got the error message: "The following error occurred: Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator." My app is as follows: Your name: Daniel ***** Character name(s): KitchenSink Account username(s): ****** Other Royallers who live with you: ******* Upload a photo of yourself and the other Royallers who live with you (please include people who mainly play from your household): [Photobucket image embedded] Is the reason that I'm embedding my photo from Photobucket? Or any other ideas? Thanks in advance
Nevermind, I posted without the image, then went back and edited the post and embedded an image. Problem solved, idk how to close the forum tho?
Dearest brother, You cannot close a thread. Many a time, I have had to resort to renaming my thread, "DELETE". These are the best of times. These are the worst of times. May your stars be sharp, and your speed hasty, Gossamer
@Chokladkakan - I realise this thread is closed, but could you look into this "spam" issue with the voting whitelist applications please, to see if you can find a way to prevent it happening? I'm guessing that the anti-spam system is seeing several posts in the same format from the same ip and drawing wrong conclusions. Thanks!
In this case, the logs show that the spam detection system disliked there being a link in KitchenSink's first message (the reason we have that filter in place is that most actual spam bots like to link to untoward places in their first post). I have refined this somewhat, hoping it'll help.
It's strange, considering the link that he was using was the same link that I had used. I just sent him the photobucket link. It worked fine for me. Could it have been his post count? Perhaps, using a link while under a certain post count causes an issue?
