Problem with the last ToT quest Force Field (Road to Oblivion)

Hi, I'm on the last ToT quest where you need to collect x1 Whale's Helmet, Knight's Mask and Guardian's Horn (from Lyka). And x10 Smiley/neutral and frowny mask ETC's from the monks.

I got Whale's helmet, Knight's mask and Guardian's horn already, but the masks never seem to drop? I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same. The droprate seems to be terrifyingly low or it just isn't dropping for me.

 

Indeed, the drop rate is horrifically low. Rest assured, they do drop.

 

It is really low. Iirc it was supposed to bottleneck for (SoonTM) PB but idk where I read that...

 

I completed the whole quest line and inly got 2 masks(also came back to farm cards). The drop for me is like 2/7000-8000. Remember that mask only drop from monks not guardians

 

Wow thats really really low for you. My estimate is 2/1000-2000. Rng i guess.

 

Ohh just relize that I did all quest with my friends so mayb kill counts is lower around 4000 mayb. But yeah 1/2000 is low

 

Is this true? I really wonder if this may be the case...

 

this sounds about right cus i got 2-3 masks after doing the questlines

 

I also had the same struggle doing this quest, pretty sure it's an intentional bottleneck for pink bean (as already stated), but I also don't know where I read that.

 

lmao i did the whole chain like 6-8 times so far n this is all i got

n i bought some of them too

 

I've spent hours farming smiley masks and only got 3 so far so we're all feeling the pain

 

A little bit offtopic, bit which ToT map is considered optimal for grinding with my paladin ?

 

You know, I'm starting to have my doubts now. I finally got all my Smiley Masks and moved on to collect Neutral Masks. I opted to farm the Qualm Monk Trainee as their drops seemed slightly better but I've been here practically all day and not found any Neutral Masks.

Can someone confirm they have found them from the Qualm Monk Trainees or just the Qualm Monks?
