Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been temporarily banned for using profane language

That is a horrendously bad lie. What you said was nothing about getting anything from a spa.

    You're staying banned.

It really isn't a lie; there was prior context to the conversation, and no one was feeling harassed, it was all in good fun.

This was given as a response to a profanity report a week or so ago: "While this is classless, the person wasn't talking to you, and you could have left the map if you were offended or even asked the person to stop rather than reporting them. No action will be taken."

I wasn't talking to Jeen, she was in the map along with 2 friends of mine, and I said maybe 10 words in total. No one asked me to stop or to do it in private, and yes it was crude humor, but is saying the word 'bukakke' enough to warrant a 4 day ban with no warning? I know some people don't share the same view on humor as I do, and I would be happy to refrain from using course language if someone asked.

It is a lie - bukkake is not a facial from a spa, like you claim in your initial post. Perhaps rather than attempting to cover your actions, if you had been more honest from the start and simply stated that you've got a more crude sense of humor, we would have been able to reach an agreement, but I cannot justify that anymore.

I don't know which situation you are speaking about. What I do know is that your choice of words were enough for a responding GM to deem it as unsavory enough for a ban in this specific scenario. On this server, we try to keep all public medias as clean as possible as we encourage younger players to play the game as well. This includes allchat, super megaphones, the forum shoutbox, and any other situation where your words are portrayed to people who have not chosen to hear what you are saying. In future, please keep this sort of humor to your buddy list, party chat, or guild chat as in all of these cases, your intended audience is specifically accepting to hear your words and would be asked to leave the situation if they were offended.

Your ban will expire in two days, and will not be overturned.

I made no attempt to deceive you or hide my actions, all it was was a joke on facial being a double entendre. I respect that you choose not to unban me, but please don't insult me by calling me a liar. I understand that my actions/words are not allowed, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that I was banned with no warning, while I've seen others say things just as vulgar receive no punishment when reported. In multiple reports in the forums, GMs respond by saying 'did you ask them to stop?' I was told nothing by Jeen or anyone regarding the situation.

In this thread, a similar situation occurs:
    https://royals.ms/forum/threads/foul-language.46767/#post-254869

Here is a quote by Jeen, the GM who banned me :
"I'm not quite sure if I agree due to the fact they were in a random fm room, rather than in the entrance. They were obviously just chatting privately when the incident occurred. Smega's are different imo due to the fact that they reach literally almost every single person on the game. You are allowed to have foul language among buddy chat and guild chat. While I agree that they should have kept it there, it's also obvious that this was a private conversation; it doesn't seem like they were intending to do it in a public location like the FM entrance, KPQ entrance, etc so I personally don't think it should be bannable."

If you strive to make MapleRoyals a clean community welcoming to everyone, that is your prerogative, and all power to you. I just don't understand what makes what I said worse than other cases.

In this thread, someone flamed out another player in public, but only recieved a 3 day ban, while one sentence from me in a mostly private setting got me banned for 4 days.

In the future I will refrain from being as profane in all chat, as per gm wishes. As i said, I accept and understand that my words are not allowed, but I don't enjoy being treated differently than other players without being given a reason.

That was a post from before I was a GM so it was the opinion of another player, not staff.

Secondly, the context is very different. Those people were in an FM room that originally had no people in it until the person walked in. On the other hand, you were the one who came into the map and knew that there were other people there and said those kinds of things anyway.

Thirdly, we are not required to warn you. We don't warn if we deem that you have broken a rule. There are many mapletips that distinctly say that warnings will not be given before bans.

Also, you keep saying 4 days, but you were banned for 3, just like everyone else's first offence for profanity.

Your ban expires on June 12th at 4:42am servertime, which is approximately 2.5 days from now. You were banned about half a day ago, which makes the total length of your ban three days.

Bukkake is not a facial from a spa. That is what you claimed in your first post. If it was meant to be a cheeky joke, it was in incredibly poor taste and has earned you nothing.

As I said before, I will not comment on any other situations in past, as they are not relevant. The statement you made was deemed to be grossly sexual and inappropriate in the moment, and thus resulted in your ban as per our Terms and Conditions. After review, I see no reason to unban you.
