Project 200

As a person who has studied history all the way through graduate school & beyond, I always like to geek out on my hobbies and consider their foundations, roots & journeys towards where they've ended up. Seeing as we're all a part of the best PS this game has ever had, I think it'd be fitting to have a Hall of Fame on our forums cataloguing the achievements some of the community's most dedicated players have made. @Kai mentioned something like this over a year ago as an in-game option (which I'm 100% behind and think it would be amazing as long as we had enough pedestals in the room to recognize everyone who has made it to 200). Until/if we ever get to that point, I thought it would be worthwhile to have a definitive catalogue of players that's available on the forums for newer players to see, interact with and strive towards. I'm hoping others agree that this would be a cool idea and give me a hand with the composition.

Project Goal:
A definitive anthology cataloging the names and biographies of each player who has reached level 200 on our server. More than just a leaderboard (which we currently don't have but may have again soon), this is meant to be a record of names, interests, moments, etc. that allow those who have achieved level 200 to tell their story, such that we don't forget them if they move on in life.

Project Scope:
Includes anyone who has ever reached level 200 on this current server, which includes Old Source but not whatever MapleRoyals was prior to the written records of our current server (from what I've gathered, Matt used to run a server that had way higher exp rates so those won't count).

Project Guidelines:​

1. I don't know everyone who has hit 200 on this server so please help me out by encouraging people to post replies with leads towards folks who have done it. You don't have to be the person who hit 200 to add that person (ie: anyone can recommend I add Geo, even if Geo wasn't the one to specifically post his info in here), though I do hope every level 200 makes a stop by to drop me their words/answers so I can include them verbatim. ​
2. Names will be alphabetized based on Forum screen name, though I will also keep a Google Doc that can be filtered by dates, number of characters and other metrics.​
3. Level 200 characters can opt out and be removed from the list if they personally ask me or if the Staff edits this post to remove them, but I'd hope that no one would do that such that we can preserve the historical record. ​
4. By viewing this project, you acknowledge that you will not use this as a stalker directory. Please do not go down this list and ask these people for money, equips or leech. Our server deserves a comprehensive anthology but we should not use that as an excuse to harass or annoy the people included on this list. If you're new and need a hand, ask me but please do not approach these players for a cold call.​
5. A player will be removed from this catalogue if they're permanently banned per our server's Terms of Service. ​
6. I give any member of the staff permission to edit this post however they see fit, as I get busy at work frequently and can't guarantee I'll be around forever. ​
7. If the idea takes off and people like it, we'll also add an Honorable Mentions tab where a very select few people could be recognized even if they never hit level 200. This could be for someone extremely helpful (Akira, if she wasn't already 200), someone who has significantly contributed to market forces (Momo) or for someone who writes/wrote a lot of guides (Plenty), etc. ​

• All fields are optional but I hope players will use this as an opportunity to record some of their personality traits & quirks. If nothing else, it'll be really funny to look back on years down the road!​
